APPLICATION FOR RECOGNITION AS PURE FOUNDATION STOCK
This is for the expressed use
for TCA, Inc. registrations only, and can be printed out for that use by
anyone wishing to register a cat, kitten, or litter in TCA, Inc.
REQUIREMENTS
- THREE (3) litters bred from Foundation Stock, having bred true to accepted
TCA, Inc. Breed Standards. Each litter to be bred from the following
Sire-Dam combinations ONLY.
- Sire (or Dam) registered as Champion Stock and Dam (or Sire) registered
as Foundation Stock.
- Sire (or Dam) registered as Pure Foundation Stock and Dam (or Sire)
registered as Foundation Stock.
- Sire and Dam registered as Foundation Stock both with TCA, Inc.
- Proof of cat having bred true. Proof of three (3) litters registered with
TCA, Inc. produced must be submitted or referenced to existing
registrations. This to include (but is not specifically limited to):
- Completion of form on reverse side.
- All available information on each cat not registered with TCA, Inc.
involved in the breedings (As many generations as are available).
- Photocopies of the registration papers of all cats not registered with
TCA, Inc. involved in the breedings, if available.
- All three litters must be registered with TCA, Inc.
- Fill out the third page on any cats not registered with TCA, Inc. that
were involved with any of the three litters. Mail all to TCA, Inc. Head
Registrar, PO Box 178, Heisson, WA 98622-0178.
Upon receipt of all of the above, the Genetics Committee will study, with
the use of genetic charts showing proven color combinations and the accepted
TCA, Inc. Breed Standards, to prove whether the Foundation Stock has bred
true to the accepted standard for the breed. The Genetics Committee will
present its report to the Head Registrar within thirty (30) days of receipt
of the request. If accepted as Pure Foundation Stock the cat or cats will be
issued new Registration numbers and will be recognized as such. If denied,
the Head Registrar will send a written explanation to the owner and/or
breeder. The three litters involved will remain Foundation Stock, but can be
upgraded to Championship Stock at the request of their owner.
